Fernando Herrera

May 1970 - Nov. 2024

Fernando Herrera was born in Lima, Peru, on May 12, 1970. From a very young age he was independent and very sure of himself; he achieved all his goals. He studied what he was passionate about, architecture, at the Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru.

Almost 20 years ago, Fernando decided to take on the adventure of moving to New York to continue growing as a professional. He achieved his dream by working in prestigious architecture firms such as: Rafael Viñoly Architects, Ismael Leyva Architects, P.C. and SLCE Architects LLP.

In 2009, Fernando married Peggy Santaya. In 2015, they celebrated the arrival of their son, Mateo.

God calls his best soldiers early, and you, Fernando, were a great soldier, admirable father, loving husband, and a great person. Your departure was sudden, but now you are with God, and we will meet again at some point. We are going to miss you very much, but it is not a goodbye, it is a see you later.
