Obituary of Audrey Ballerini
Audrey Ballerini March 24, 1930-April 7, 2024
Audrey Ballerini, nee Audrey Castino, was a native New Yorker who grew up in Greenwich Village and graduated from Washington Irving High School. Upon graduation, she worked at Brooks Brothers on Madison Ave, and then moved to BBDO Advertising Agency where she met her husband of 53 years, Bob Ballerini. After marriage, they lived in Sunnyside, Queens for several years, then moved to Kew Gardens where she happily resided for 57 years.
Audrey was a women of utmost kindness, gentleness, compassion and honesty, who enjoyed the simple things. She loved her family: she was a devoted wife to Bob, a doting mother to her son, Robert, and a loving sibling to her late sister Elaine. She was a loyal friend and was fortunate to enjoy many life-long friendships.
Audrey lived by the virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity. She was an active contributor to many organizations, including Meals-on-Wheels and Catholic Charities. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Forest Hills, and found great solace and comfort in her faith.
Audrey will be greatly missed by all those who had the great fortune to know and love her.
