Obituary of Lillian Mary MacColl
Please share a memory of Lillian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lillian loved Bob very much. Lillian was kind, considerate, creative and beautiful inside and out. She enjoyed art and music. She had a Bachelor's degree in Art from Queens College. She once painted a photograph of Brigitte Bardot from the Daily News. It was an exact likeness. This is not easy to do. Lillian loved costume jewelry. She would wear four necklaces and three bracelets simultaneously. Many people helped her sister Deanna care for Lillian especially Andrea Coltelli, who went above and beyond in her care and Alicia Nobrega, who drove her to and from North Shore University Hospital and stayed and helped Lillian. Pay Bryne was wonderful in her loving care. Soma Singh, Hazel Singh and Janet Carlson, Tina Ciaravolo, Pamela Boyer, Denise Bertolotti also helped in her care. Monsignor Dempsey visited her every week at Chapin Nursing Home. Father Antonin saved her life when he prayed over her at Midway. He also visited her multiple times at her current nursing home. So many wonderful people were there for Lillian!
