Paul was born in Richmond Hill, New York to Antonio Nocella and Gina Sgaraglia. He had a strong devotion to his family. Paul did not have any siblings; however, he treasured the good times shared with family and friends. He was single and a very independent, private person. Paul worked as an electrical engineer for Raytheon Integrated Defense in Tewksbury, Massachusetts for many years. One of his important roles was in the development of the Patriot Missel System. Paul was extremely valuable to both the company and to our country.
Paul was a great radio enthusiast who spent his spare time working on old, antique radios. He had a passion for collecting various pieces of marvelous equipment, and he treasured every one of them. Paul was also a member of the American Radio Relay League. In addition to his radio hobby, Paul also enjoyed reading books and researching various topics. He loved nature, and he especially loved watching his tulips blossom every year.
Paul was predeceased by his grandparents (Luigi and Giuseppina Sgaraglia), his parents (Antonio and Gina Nocella), his aunt and uncle (Maria and Giustino Cellucci), and his uncle (Raymond Nocella). He is survived by his aunt (Lorenza Nocella), his uncle (Italo Sgaraglia) and many first, second and third cousins. Paul was very grateful for Sandy Hennessy who helped him take care of his mother and who became a good friend to Paul.
