Steve was a real friend to our family. In the 1960s when I was a kid, he knew how much I enjoyed Laurel & Hardy movies, and that I collected them as 8mm home movies. One day he gave me $5, which was worth a lot more back then, and told me, "Now go buy your favorite movie with Laurel & Hardy, and I want to watch it, too!". I bought it and we watched it together. Such a great guy, he will be missed by all he knew.
