Obituary of Anne Reeve

Anne Reeve was born in NYC in 1935, the only child to Renata and Delfo Rocchi of Siena Italy. Anne lived and grew up in NYC where she attended New York University. She met Gregory Reeve, a composer, and musician at St. Cecelia’s Croatian Church in NYC. They married there in 1959 and moved to Kew Gardens, New York where she took residence for 58 years.  Although they divorced after 5 years of marriage, Anne and Gregory maintained a lifetime of great friendship until the passing of Gregory in 2012. Anne was employed her whole life as an executive secretary. Most recently she worked for an architectural company called Kohn Peterson and Fox.  It is there that she met the love of her life who would reconnect with her and give her the best years of her life.  Anne fell in love again. 15 years ago a man named Ben Curatolo, a well-known architect, would call Anne up and change her life forever. For the next 15 years of her life were spent traveling all over the world in love with a man that loved her as much as she loved him.  Anne led a full life working full time and then volunteering for 25 years at the New Foundling Hospital for Children after work, no matter now tired she was she never wanted to disappoint the children and take them for their walks in their wheel chairs. Especially this one boy Ryan who she took care of until he left and became an adult. Anne was a wonderful, caring, selfless, generous, classy, iconic, cultured, and intelligent woman that was liked and loved by many. Her last 13 years she resided in Forest Hills Gardens, NY. She will be missed. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Smalley, son in law Robert Smalley, grandsons Sean Eisenberg, Alec Smalley, granddaughter Amber, Great Grandson Luca, and Her LOVE her partner in life BEN CURATOLO
