My happiest memories of Eva are of the last decade of her life, seeing her angelically cared for by her niece Janet, having meaningful times together. Janet was always implementing ways of keeping Eva's memory sharp for her. I smiled seeing Eva was always dressed by Janet in her favorite clothes with bows in her hair. Everyday they'd stroll together, their exercise walks, their faithful attending church, Janet driving off with her to visit Eva's family, their outings for ice cream after which they'd sit together for hours outside DD's watching and enjoying neighbors going by, Happy memories of seeing Eva with Janet by her garden, thanks t basking in the sun, settled regally by Janet on a chair, a blanket over her knees, hair coiffed stylishly, in her sunglasses, happy as Janet tended the garden of her beloved house. I was happy for Eva when her brother Joe visited from Michigan with her nephew Joe because I knew they made sure everything in her house was working in tip-top shape for her. Eva had the blessing of longevity and the blessing of Janet, angelically guiding her through daily life. May Eva's spirit continue to inspire those she loved and who loved her.
