John’s and my memories of Jo include her lively interest in and concern about people, as well as her sense of humor and ability to put a person at ease. We were touched by the way that the Katcher clan welcomed us when our daughter Diana and Kevin became engaged.

When Jo and Dave came to Iowa it was such a treat going out to eat with them. The conversation never had a lull in it. Jo was so adept to conversing and asked all kinds of questions. A very unique talent. Even my husband Ron was hypnotized by her and talking all night. I loved her YA YA YA YA I would start laughing to my self.. So cute. I also had the pleasure of shopping with her in downtown Cedar Falls. That was an experience. Loved it. She bought a small table and had it shipped back home. Dave said how and when it will arrive. He knew no use arguing. And the stories of her shopping with her sister and not enough room in the car. Jo did enjoy life with Dave and I feel so rich with her memories and her ya, ya, ya.
