Jim and I grew up on the same block in Astoria (LIC), 43St and 34th Ave. He was a year older than me so we didn't hang around together much, other than some softball games in Kelly's Sq. in the summer thanks largely to Mr. Walsh. Years later I was happy to meet him again in the Operations Unit - we both had joined the NYCTransit Police. I did see him after retirement at some retirement meetings. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family. Art Scheublin
