I had the pleasure of knowing Betty through my dear friend Ruth. Betty would come to our events every year at St. John's Lutheran Church - Greenpoint.
I along with my friends from the St. John's Ladies guild are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Betty. We all knew Betty as Ruth's friend who was always quiet and came to our events to support the ladies. We loved the stories Ruth would share about her. We have the fondest memories of the two of them. She will be dearly missed.
