Julie, Vanessa, and family,
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I will always keep my great friend Juan in my prayers.
I knew Juan for 25 years and worked with him at John Alden from 1993 until 1998.
We did the same type of work, however Juan was a pioneer in CICS transactions systems and taught me many new things along the way. We hit it off right of way as we had a lot of things in common. We enjoyed going to lunch, along with another friend, Frank Gandarillas. Week after week...we had a great lunch schedule and enjoyed conversations on just about any subject.
We looked forward to it daily! After work, we would do what we had enjoyed all our lives. We would go to the gym to burn down the lunch calories.
Of course, life goes on and our company was sold and we all scrambled to find other jobs. However, distance, time and life never waivered our friendships. We got together whenever we could, visited each other, took a cruise, and celebrated a New Years, recently.
Through it all, the bond and friendship remained and as a result I will never forget my great friend, Juan. I will miss him dearly and will cherish the great memories.
