Hedwig Hoffman, mother, grandmother, and former president of Nichibei Fujinkai passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, surrounded by her beloved family - Stuart, Haruka, and Wolfgang - shy of her 80th birthday. Services are scheduled for Saturday 7/5 from 3-7PM at Fox Funeral Home at 98-07 Ascan Ave. in Forest Hills. For those wishing to express sympathy, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Doctors without Borders or The Queens Federation of Churches Emergency Food Service.
